This is pretty amazing thing to grasp.įirst, this couple got married. Later, they found out it wasn't and no one knew who it was. I thought is was amazing that when they were caught in a deadly fog that some they thought was air control helped them out. I think this showed that there was still others in the world that care about each other. I thought it meant a lot that a stranger took his plane and went many miles for someone in his town without even asking for money to pay for gas. I could not imagine the situation this couple was in with being several states apart for their first Christmas together as a married couple.The couple had no idea that there was a surprise coming their way but there was. My only complaint is that it wasn’t as Christmassy as I expected. Readers may question the spiritual credibility of the stories as some are more compelling than others. We all have our own beliefs, but whether or not you’re a believer in God, anyone can enjoy this book although, there is mention of God throughout and the people in the stories are also believers. I’ve had unexplainable things happen to me in my own life–things that in no way could just be luck or coincidence. It’s my belief that there are miracles happening around us all the time, even when we don’t see them.
When reading this book I guess you just have to ask yourself: are you a person who believes in miracles? I, for one, am. One story about a 37-year-old man with appendicitis was very compelling. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I did enjoy the stories on healing the most. Some of the stories involve healing, lost items, and lives saved. Each one shows how God is ever-present in our lives. The stories are said to be true, but they’ve been fictionalized to protect the privacy of the people they belong to. Perhaps our time would be better spent looking for the miracles that so clearly exist around us. “Unfortunately we live with a sense of urgency for all the wrong reasons.
